About Changeboard
What is Changeboard?
Changeboard is a free global career community where HR and recruitment professionals can find relevant jobs and career advice. What sets us apart is that all of our information is user generated by the community:
Jobs - more than 5,000 specialist HR jobs are added to the site each month by hundreds of companies, and our new CV database has over 1,000 CVs from users added each month.
Content - over 3,000 career advice articles, videos and guides have been uploaded in the last 12 months by business schools, consultancies, think-tanks, thought leaders and HR professionals.
Community - groups and discussion forums with advanced functions enabling users to launch polls, share multimedia, and search discussion topics and threads of fellow professionals.
Our aim is create a rich, respectful and professional environment in which you can find all the information you’ll need to manage your career and make more informed career decisions. That’s one of the dimensions behind our strapline ‘Change the way you work’.
Changeboard – www.changeboard.com - was launched in October 2004 and has become the leading job board for Human Resources professionals with more than 3,000 live jobs and 64,204 unique users a month (source: ABCe). Changeboard Ltd is privately owned and managed by its two founders Jim Carrick-Birtwell (CEO) and Porteur Keene (Executive Chairman) from its offices in London.

Content
As well as relevant jobs our model enables the publication of high quality content to our sites and partner sites which complement the job search and make the experience for jobseekers more interactive and engaging. Changeboard currently partners with more than 100 organisations to provide regular content for the site, including consultancies and business schools. All content is unique, pre-moderated, and syndicated by Google News.
The focus of the content is ‘Career advice’, categorized under three main areas: Jobseeker, Career development, and Leadership & management. Our user-generated model has inspired more than 3,000 unique articles which have been added to the site in the last 12 months.
Community
Changeboard’s proprietary software enables groups and discussion forums to be launched by users of the site with an advanced set of tools to help professionals communicate, inspire, collaborate, network and share.
The tools and functions available to users of Changeboard include:
- the ability to create and populate individual and organisation career profiles with videos, podcasts, and live links to other social media profiles such as Linkedin and Facebook, as well as feeds of Tweets and blog postings
- the ability to launch polls within groups and show real time polling and feedback
- tools to create a photo gallery within groups, make announcements, publicise events, or seed/search discussion threads.
